I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (class of 2017) with a BA in English.
Originally a student studying opera, I left music school to pursue game writing and narrative design.
Now a professional Narrative Designer, I still feel like I do much of the same thing: just on a screen, not on a stage.
"Of Shining Sea and Rising Sun"
During my Junior and Senior years of college, I conducted an independent, cross-cultural analysis of horror game narratives from both the United States and Japan. VCU gave me the rare honor of being an research fellow as an undergraduate for the year of 2016, and I attended the National Conference of Undergraduate Research that same year to present my findings in a lecture. I also displayed my findings at VCU's Research Symposium in 2017.
